How to play Roulette 2

EUROPEAN ROULETTE RULES

The European roulette game is based on the original French Roulette game. You play the game against the house and payouts vary, depending on where you have placed your bets on the roulette table layout and on where the roulette ball lands in the roulette wheel.

Placing Bets
There are numerous different ways to place a bet. Players can bet on one single number or up to 18 different numbers at the same time. The payouts on a bet depend on the type of bet placed.

Straight Up Bet
A bet on one individual number (including the 0).

Split Bet
A bet on the line between two numbers (like 2 & 3 or 13 & 16).

Row Bet
A bet on a row of 3 numbers on the roulette table layout (like 7, 8, 9). Place your bet on the left edge of the first number in the row (like 7, in this example).

Triple Bet
A bet on a combination of 3 numbers that intersect on the table layout. It is only possible to place a triple bet on the numbers that border on zero (0). Those combinations are (0,1,2) or (0,2,3).

Corner Bet
A bet on the intersection of a block of 4 numbers (like 19, 20, 22, 23).

Top Line Bet
A bet on the first 4 numbers at the top of the roulette table layout (0, 1, 2, 3). To make this bet, place your chips on the left edge on the line between the zero (0) and the first row (1, 2, 3).

Line Bet
A bet on a block of 6 connected numbers in two adjacent rows that share the same horizontal line. For example row 28, 29, 30 and row 31, 32, 33 make one Line Bet. To place this bet, put your chips on the left side of the table on the horizontal line between the two rows.

Column Bet
A bet on an entire vertical column (for example: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36). To make this bet, put your chips at the bottom of the table layout in one of the “2 to 1” spaces. The zero (0) does not belong to any of these bets.

Dozen Bet
A bet on the first, second or third sets of twelve of numbers on the table. Players can select from the “1st 12” (1-12), “2nd 12” (13-24) and “3rd 12” (25-36).

Red / Black
Will the winning number be red or black?

Odd / Even
Bet on whether the winning number will be odd or even (the 0 does not count in this bet).

High / Low
Bet on whether the winning number will be on either the low half of the table (1-18) or on the high half (19-36).

Series
There is also an oval layout on the roulette table that shows the numbers as they appear on the roulette wheel. Here you can place bets on sections of the roulette wheel (series bets).

0/2/3 Series
Use nine chips to place seven different bets. You can only play the following combinations: 0/2/3, 4/7, 12/15, 18/21, 19/22, 25/29 and 32/35 (a double bet is placed on 0/2/3 and 25/29).

0-Jeux
Place four equal bets on four combinations: 0/3, 12/15, 26 and 32/35.

5/8 Series
Place six equal bets on six combinations: 5/8, 10/11, 13/16, 23/24, 27/30 and 33/36.

Orphans
Place five equal bets on five combinations: 1, 6/9, 14/17, 17/20 and 31/34.
